NEW - I'm having problems with Strat
Planner.
Somworld.com and Strat Planner are owned by different individuals.
They work in a partnership together but the sites are different entities.
Customer service and Strat Planner user/password concerns should be
addressed to the Strat Planner site. We're happy to forward your concerns
to the SP programmer but we cannot resolve them. We also cannot help you
check your Strat Planner account status. That inquiry should also go to
Strat Planner.
NEW - I'm having problems with my account
information at the Strat Fan Forum.
Dan Patterson owns and operates the Strat Fan Forum. You will have to
contact him if you cannot get into that site.
NEW - What are the Somworld.com business
hours?
Typically, someone is manning the site between 8 AM and 5 PM EST on
business days. No one is on the site in the middle of the night (2 AM
EST). No one can responsd to your questions at that time.
NEW - Can I use Firefox?
Yes, we tested out our password form and the account activation form
with Firefox yesterday and everything worked fine.
NEW - What do I do after my account has
expired?
You'll have to go back to the order page and purchase another
Somworld.com subscription. We once used recurring subscriptions but had to
stop because of the format used by PayPal.
UPDATE - Why isn't my premium account
working?
New Account - Have you visited the
Premium Account
page and sent us your desired user name and password? We'll get you up and
running after we receive this information.
Existing Account - Nine times out of ten your user/pass aren't working
because your subscription has expired. Sometimes we are doing site
maintenance and access is temporarily out.
What happens if I have my account
information and I can't access the site?
A. Make sure you're entering the user/password information exactly
as written in the email.
B. Go into Internet Explorer
Click on tools - internet options - advanced
You have a huge list of items with checkboxes
Click on restore defaults - and try again.
C. Go into Internet Explorer
Click on tools - internet options - security
Click on custom levels click on medium and reset
D. Go into Internet Explorer
Go to "Tools - Internet Options" Click on Security Tab at top
Click custom label tab near bottom of Security screen
Scroll all the way down to the bottom.
The final section is user authorization
Select Automatic Logon
What
is a subscription to Somworld.com?
You receive 1-year access to all Somworld.com articles and spreadsheets.
What happens after I
purchase a subscription?
We'll generate your account information and send an email to the PayPal
specified address. The subject line for this email is "Somworld.com
Subscription Information."
Why haven't I received
my account information?
1. Your PayPal email address is different from your primary email
address. We send the user/password information to the PayPal email
address.
2. The information was filtered into a bulk folder or trash folder by your
email system. This happens sometimes with AOL or HOTMAIL accounts. You
may want to "wade" through the spam in those folders and see if it's there.
3. Your email account has a special filter or rejects our email. We
often send subscriptions to YAHOO accounts with overflowing email
accounts. Our email is rejected as the inbox is full.
Why can't I access some
of the pages in the Members Section?
You may not have Adobe Acrobat reader or you may have an older incompatible
version installed in your web brower. Click
here to
download Adobe. You will also need a spreadsheet program for some of our
files. You can also download the Microsoft Excel viewer from the Internet
to use.
Why are some of the
forms not loading correctly?
The Firefox web browser does not work with some parts of the Somworld.com
website. We recommend IE until we have an update to our current program.
Do you have a
cancellation and refund policy?
We have a very strict policy in this area because of the wide abuse in
Internet subscriptions. We do not issue refunds after a 2-day period. We
do not issue refunds if you have visited the site on numerous occasions
during this 2-day period. We do not issue refunds if you have downloaded
all of our files within a few minutes and then ask for a refund. Please
contact us if you have concerns and we'll explain the process before you
purchase your subscription.
Has my account expired?
We send renewal notices for premium accounts only - not the basic ones.
You can use the password retrieval form to determine the status of your
account.
